Using the Site

My PDF provides free, browser-based tools to merge, split, compress, convert, protect and otherwise manipulate PDF and image files. By uploading a file to any tool, you agree to these terms. No account is required, and none of these tools require payment.

Your Responsibility for What You Upload

You confirm that you have the right to upload and process any file you submit — for example, that you own it, created it, or otherwise have permission to handle it. You agree not to use My PDF to process content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you are not authorized to access or modify.

How Your Files Are Handled

Uploaded files are processed automatically and are not reviewed by a person. Both the file you upload and the result we generate are stored temporarily and deleted automatically — see our Privacy Policy for the specifics. Because deletion is automatic and irreversible once it happens, you are responsible for downloading your result before its retention window ends and for keeping your own backup of any file you upload.

No Guarantee of Accuracy or Availability

Tools are provided "as is." While we test each tool thoroughly, PDF files vary enormously in how they were created, and we cannot guarantee a perfect result for every possible file. We also cannot guarantee the service will always be available without interruption — for maintenance, technical failure, or any other reason.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure, and not to use automated tools to abuse the service beyond normal individual use. Rate limits and other safeguards are in place, and we may block access from any source found to be abusing them.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My PDF is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including loss of a file due to the automatic deletion described above, service downtime, or an unexpected processing result. Use the service at your own discretion, and keep your own copies of anything important. See our Disclaimer for further detail on warranties and liability.

Intellectual Property

The My PDF name, logo, site design, and all original text, graphics and code that make up the site itself are the property of My PDF and may not be copied, reproduced or redistributed without permission. This does not extend to the files you upload or the results a tool generates for you — you retain full ownership of your own content at all times; we merely process it on your instruction and then delete it.

Termination

Since there is no account system, there is nothing to "terminate" on your end — you can simply stop using the site at any time. We reserve the right to block or restrict access from any IP address or source found to be abusing the service, violating the Acceptable Use section above, or attempting to circumvent rate limits or security controls, without prior notice.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
