    What Is a PDF Crop Tool?

    A PDF crop tool trims an even margin off every side of every page, shrinking the visible page area without touching the content itself — the text and images that were already inside the trimmed boundary simply become the new, smaller page.

    This is most useful for removing the wide white borders scanners often leave around a page, or the excess margin space in a document exported from software that added more padding than intended. Cropping tightens the page around the actual content.

    The trim is applied as a percentage of each page's own width and height, so it scales sensibly whether the source document is A4, Letter, or something else entirely, and the same percentage is applied to every page.
